The Kalaburagi Legacy

Kalaburagi (formerly Gulbarga) is a region steeped in cultural diversity and historic art. Our founders realized that while traditional metalcraft was highly revered, the market lacked consistent quality, certified alloy blends, and premium design standards.

Shri Varalakshmi was established to bridge this gap. By building structured manufacturing systems and blending them with the unmatched skills of local master-engravers, we created a brand trusted for its uncompromising quality.

Elite Craftsmanship

Every curve, leaf motif, and divine silhouette is chiseled by hand, ensuring that no two pieces are exactly identical.

Alloy Purity

We certify our metal blends to consist strictly of premium copper, nickel, and zinc, giving each item weight and durability.

Supporting Artisans

We directly support local metalsmiths in Northern Karnataka, providing fair wages, medical coverage, and structural safety.

The Science of German Silver

Genuine German Silver (also known as Alpacca or Nickel Silver) is a heavy metal copper alloy. It has no actual elemental silver content, yet it mimics sterling silver almost perfectly in luster, tensile strength, and sound resonance.

We apply a specialized dual-coat organic lacquer overlay on all items. This barrier shields the metal from atmospheric sulfur, reducing tarnish and making maintenance as simple as wiping down with a soft microfiber cloth.
